Convert series observations to a data matrix.

A series uses getData(); a series list uses getDataMatrix(). Existing date alignment and column conventions belong to those operators.
Matrix names and editable targets in examples are placeholders for variables you have created. Result-specific EXTRACT keys are not inventoried here.
