Search ECB data with an optional topic selector.

Details

Arguments remain raw text. The one-argument form passes an empty topic to the server hook.

Examples containing angle-bracket placeholders are templates: replace them with codes from the relevant catalog. This command does not document result-specific EXTRACT keys; an empty metadata list does not establish that the returned object lacks extracts.
