HTML_SLIDE

Create a rendered HTML panel for a RainbowStats slideshow.

Syntax

panel=HTML_SLIDE(html)
slide(panel,otherPanel)

Supply exactly one quoted HTML fragment or StringOperator expression. The result is D3HtmlOperator. Markup renders as HTML rather than visible angle brackets. No HTMLObject conversion or TEXT_SLIDE wrapping is required.

Example

intro=HTML_SLIDE("<h1>Study notes</h1><p>Explain the evidence.</p>")
source=HTML_SLIDE("<p><a href='https://rainbowstats.com/commandDesc/index.html'>Reference</a></p>")
slide(intro,source)

Use single quotes for HTML attributes inside a double-quoted script literal. Preserve one equation per physical line. Common escaped quotes and newline/tab escapes are decoded in direct literals. Unknown backslash sequences remain unchanged.

Presentation content

Headings, paragraphs, compact tables and source links suit this command. Inline SVG depends on viewer support. Prefer simple fragments and inline styles. TEXT_SLIDE remains the choice for plain prose.

Limits and viewer behavior

Use trusted HTML. This command performs no sanitization and grants no script or network capability. Viewer restrictions and CSP still govern rendering. Do not depend on JavaScript, event handlers or iframes. External images may be blocked. Prefer approved hosted assets over base64 image payloads. Maximum 32,000 HTML characters. MCP also limits the entire request to 64,000 bytes, script to 50,000 characters, 250 equations and result to 500,000 characters.

MAKE_HTML creates a different HTMLObject. HTML_SLIDE creates a D3 panel directly. Sources and captions should identify external content and distinguish findings from interpretation.
